Become part of this community and resource for interior designers
at institutions of higher education.

Designing for higher education is distinct and requires a balance of reliable, tested, and proven solutions. This community fosters opportunities for connecting, sharing reputable resources, collaboration, and champions advancement both at the professional and student level.

To qualify to be an AUID members, you must be full-time employees of higher education institutions that provide management, coordination, and financial oversight of interior design scope, space planning, and FF&E procurement.

AUID Membership term runs July 1 of the current year to June 30 of the next year.
Membership runs concurrently with the AUID Fiscal Year and renewals are due June – July of renewal year annually.

New Member Dues:
$75 (Join between July 1, 2024 – Dec. 31, 2024)
$50 (Join between Jan. 01, 2025 – March 30, 2025)
(Renewal will be the full $75 during the renewal cycle.)

Connect with other designers from peer institutions across the United States. Each campus brand and experience are unique but the design perspective and challenges share a common thread.

INFORM.

Have a challenging project or issue? Need inspiration or proven solutions? Poll other designers for resources, recommendations, and knowledge to solve problems innovatively.

INVEST.

CEU opportunities are available for members. Additionally, scholarships are accessible to members who are pursuing professional accreditations and current students pursuing degree programs.

Renew Your Membership Online

Renewing your membership with AUID is easy! Login to your member portal and find your membership invoice on your dashboard (under Membership Renewal on the right). Haven’t logged in before? Use your email address to proceed through the Forgot Password instructions. Have questions? Email info@auid.org for assistance!

  • Membership Terms: July 1, 2024 – June 30, 2025 
  • Renewal Dues: $75 
  • Renewal Timeline: June 1 – July 15 to Renew, or you will lose access to your member benefits. 

AUID membership runs concurrently with AUID Fiscal Year July 1 – June 30. Email addresses are shared with the AUID partners per their partnership agreement. If you leave the University or change roles withing my employment, please contact AUID at info@auid.org to update your membership. 

How to Renew your Membership

  1. Log into your Member Account on the auid.org website. (For login information assistance, you can reach out to info@auid.org for help.)
  2. Click on the “Pay Now” Button under the Membership Renewal section on the Dashboard.
  3. Add your Membership Renewal invoice to the shopping cart.
  4. Check-out the items in your cart and go through your desired payment options.

Member Profile 

To ensure that we have the correct contact information, we ask that all members review and update their member profiles. The additional profile questions being asked help AUID plan programs and provide future opportunities based on this information.

How to Update Your Member Profile

  1. Select “Log In” in the upper right corner at auid.org 
  2. Once logged in, you will see your profile information on the left side of the page, including name, email, employer, and address 
  3. To update your profile information, select the “Update Profile” button  
  4. From there, you can update both your basic profile information and your AUID-specific demographics 
  5. Select “Save Changes”

Annual Dues: $75*

*Membership is renewed annually. Additional costs associated with conference registration and attendance are not included with membership.
